In this private home, the Alumil SMARTIA M7 system was utilized to create a stunning glazing solution for a sports hall overlooking a football field. The client’s vision was to have unobstructed views while training, allowing her to watch her husband play without any intermediate framing disrupting the view.

Project details:

The design features three large structures, each measuring 5200 mm by 2300 mm, with two of them completely free of any intermediate mullions. This approach not only achieves the desired aesthetics but also adheres to all relevant standards regarding glass deflection and optical distortion.

Each insulated glass unit weighs 902 kg and has a thickness of 72 mm, ensuring excellent thermal performance. The system effectively maintains warmth in temperatures as low as -20°C while preventing overheating during warmer days reaching up to +30°C.
