Description
The Finlandia FLB-80 heats a home sauna of 250 to 425 cubic feet with the deep, even heat of a traditional Finnish sauna. As an electric sauna stove it needs no flue, no wood and no ash — just a dedicated circuit and a licensed electrician. Finlandia sauna heaters are built by Harvia in Finland and finished for the North American market, so under the Finlandia badge you get Harvia’s industrial-grade stainless elements and triple-wall cabinet: the outer shell stays cooler and safer to stand beside, and the stones sit in direct contact with the elements so the heat comes up faster and more evenly.
The FLB series puts the controls on the heater itself: a silent 60-minute timer, a thermostat, and a pre-set clock that can start the sauna up to eight hours ahead. There is no wall panel to buy, wire, or find space for — the simplest way to run a home sauna. If you would rather keep the controls outside the hot room, look at the Finlandia FIN-80.
Available in the standard red enamel finish or a stainless-steel exterior — the same heater either way. 45 lb of igneous sauna stones are included, so the heater arrives ready to load and fire.
Frequently asked questions
What size sauna does the FLB-80 suit? Home rooms from 250 to 425 cubic feet, with a ceiling of at least 6’2″ (6’5″ in Canada) and no higher than 8′.
Does it need a separate control? No — the timer and thermostat are built into the heater. Nothing else to buy.
Are stones included? Yes — 45 lb of igneous stones ship with the heater. Wash them and stack them loosely so air can pass through.
What power supply does it need? 240V single-phase (33.3 A, 8 AWG), hard-wired by a licensed electrician.
Who makes Finlandia sauna heaters? Harvia, in Finland. Finlandia is the North American badge of the line; the cabinet, elements, and manual are Harvia’s.
