Description
The Linear series puts the fire on show: a wide cast-iron-framed glass door with the combustion air channels arranged so the glass stays clear instead of sooting over in the first hour. Double-shell steel construction keeps the outer surface cooler, which is what allows the tight clearances in a small room.
GreenFlame chamber. A controlled-burn firebox: Harvia measures 20% fewer particulates and 70% less carbon monoxide than the standard chamber, and the slower, more complete burn is easier on the stove itself. Worth having anywhere wood-burning appliances are regulated.
Sizing: 15.7 kW, rated by Harvia for sauna rooms of 318–636 cu ft. Measure the room, not the bench.
Stones: choose above. Harvia’s minimum for this stove is 2 boxes of the 4–6 in fraction. Pick Included and they travel on the same pallet as the stove; pick Not included if you already have stone or would rather source it locally.
The minimum is a minimum, not a suggestion — an under-filled stove runs hot and loud and gives thin steam. If you are stacking it yourself, order one spare box of AC3020: natural stone varies in shape, and the spare is what lets you sort for a loose, well-packed pile.
Chimney: a wood-burning stove needs a UL-listed class-A chimney sized to its flue collar, installed to local code. We do not supply Harvia flue parts — plan that with your installer before the stove arrives.
