Description
A wood-burning stove has to stand a set distance from anything that can burn, and in a small sauna that clearance is often the thing that decides whether the stove fits at all. A protective sheath is a shielded panel that mounts on the stove itself and cuts the required distance — the difference between a stove that fits your room and one that does not.
Check the clearance table in your stove’s manual before you build the benches. Retrofitting a sheath is easy; moving a bench because the stove had to shift four inches is not.
The full-wrap shield cut around the 30-litre side tank of the Pro 20 LS and RS. The plain Pro 20 shields do not clear the tank.
