Description
The control unit is what turns a sauna heater into an appliance you can live with: it holds the room at a set temperature, runs the pre-heat on a timer so the sauna is ready when you are, and cuts the power on its own safety limits. On every heater that does not have controls built into its own casing, this is a required part, not an upgrade.
Xenio is the established Harvia panel: the same touch control of time, temperature, lighting and fan, without the adaptive pre-heat. It is the value choice, and it is what most installed saunas in this catalogue already run.
The larger Xenio, rated to 10.5 kW. Take this one if your heater is above 7 kW — the CX30 will not carry it.
Wi-Fi is built in, so the sauna starts from a phone. On a heater that takes an hour to come up to temperature that is the difference between planning your evening around the sauna and starting it on the drive home.
Reading the model code. U1 is single phase, U3 is three phase, U1-U3 covers both. A C means Combi — the panel drives a heater with a steam generator and regulates humidity as well as temperature, independently of each other. Match the code to your heater’s wiring before ordering; a single-phase panel will not run a three-phase heater.
Supplier compatibility: Digital Control w/WiFi for Club, Spirit, Cilindro, Virta, and Virta Pro Series Sauna Heaters.
