Description
On a wood-burning sauna the chimney is not a finishing touch — it is the part that decides whether the stove drafts properly and whether the installation passes inspection. This is HUUM’s own set, built to the flue collar of HUUM stoves, so nothing has to be adapted or fabricated on site.
The thru-ceiling version runs straight up from the stove and out through the roof. A vertical flue is the strongest draft you can give a sauna stove — it lights faster from cold and is far less fussy on a windy day than any elbowed run. Choose it whenever the ceiling above the stove is clear.
It is also the cheapest of the four sets, because a straight run needs fewer elbows. The cost you take on instead is a roof penetration that has to be flashed properly.
Single-wall inside the hot room, double-wall from the penetration outward — that transition is where site-built chimneys usually go wrong, and here it arrives pre-engineered with its insulation plate and cover plates. Stainless steel throughout. Fits every HUUM sauna stove.
