What is Thermally Modified Wood
For our saunas, we use thermally modified wood, timber that undergoes heat treatment without chemicals. The process involves slowly “baking” the wood in a kiln at 215°C for 5 days. The result:
- Increased strength and stability of the wood
- Enhanced resistance to decay and moisture
- Reduced tendency to warp or shrink
- Beautiful natural appearance preserved for decades
This ensures your sauna will look as good in 30 years as it does on the first day.
Heating Options
You can choose between a wood-burning heater, natural steam, chimney included and stones provided, or an electric heater, fast and even heating, Wi-Fi control for scheduling and temperature adjustment, also supplied with stones, whichever suits your lifestyle best.
Panoramic Window
Each sauna features a large double-glazed panoramic window that fills the interior with natural light, opens the view to your garden, and makes the space feel more open, relaxing, and connected to nature. The insulated glazing keeps the heat inside while giving the sauna its modern, airy look.
Interior Lighting
Soft lighting adds a warm, relaxing atmosphere inside the sauna and highlights the beauty of the natural wood without overpowering it.
Custom Options
As manufacturers we can expand, adjust and customize your sauna in any direction, adding terraces, covered canopies, shower areas, changing rooms, bar zones, BBQ setups, relaxation spaces or storage modules, creating the perfect layout for your property and the way you live. Expertly engineered in Estonia from premium stainless steel, the HIVE line is celebrated for its reliability, efficiency, and refined cylindrical form that elevates any interior. An integrated air tunnel enhances airflow circulation, improving heating speed while reducing energy consumption. The heater is fully compatible with HUUM Wi-Fi and GSM controllers, allowing comfortable remote operation and temperature management.
Each unit is equipped with HUUM rounded diabase stones (5–10 cm), a dense volcanic rock known for excellent heat retention and slow, even steam release. Their natural structure ensures smooth, consistent löyly and long-lasting warmth, creating a luxurious sauna experience.

Wood Burning Heater
This wood-burning sauna heater (18 kW) is designed for medium to larger steam rooms and features a full stone cage that covers the metal firebox with a large mass of stones. As the stones heat up, they store and gently release warmth, helping maintain a stable sauna microclimate with comfortable temperature and humidity levels.
The welded steel firebox and double S-shaped flue channels allow the stones to be heated both directly from the top plate and by secondary flames from the sides. An 8 mm thick top plate ensures high resistance to heat and long service life, even in high-temperature and acidic environments.
For added convenience, the heater is equipped with an external firebox channel (20 cm), so you can load wood from an adjacent room. A removable decorative frame makes it easy to integrate the heater into a wall opening and hide any rough edges, while the door can be mounted on either the left or right side.
All outer surfaces are coated with heat-resistant silicone enamel that retains its properties under high temperatures. The heater warms the sauna up to 100–110 °C in about 30–40 minutes with minimal wood usage, requires only periodic cleaning every 2–4 weeks, and offers a practical balance of efficiency, durability, and simple maintenance.
